According to the 2005 October Report of Europe RAPEX (Rapid Alert System for Non-Food Products), the Eraser that made by PVC, contains Di(2-ethylhexyl)phtalate (DEHP) , which has high possibility to cause cancer. But here and now lots of Eraser manufacturer still use PVC to be the major raw material for the cost consider. It’s the tendency that TPR (thermo plastic elastomer without toxicity) to instead of bad smell (also expensive) Rubber and poisonous PVC.
