Antimony Glycolate
Properties:White crystal, colorless and non-toxicity, easy to deliquesce in damp air and excellent solubility in ethylene glycol. Higher oxidation states of antimony and inert materials are absent. Rigorous control of the manufacturing process ensures an extremely consistent product.
Application: Catalyst for poly-condensation of polyester, it is a very active polycondensation catalyst and can be added at either the direct esterification or the polycondensation stage of the process. It is optimized for use in conjunction with the titanium based polyester catalyst technology. The absence of the acetate anion can be an advantage to some polyester manufacturers.
