This machine is designed for compaction of sand, gravel, soil and asphalt. The YZS0.5 has tight clearances, making it ideally suited for small repairs and maitenance of roads, walks, bridges, and parking lots. The high exciter forces ensure excellent compaction of cohesive-type soils,as well as loose soils and gravel. The sprinkler system and water control valve allow the roller to be used wet or dry. The roller is designed to travel up to 200 ft./min. (3.7 km/hr.) in the forward direction, and is limited to 150 ft./min.(2.7 km/hr.) in reverse.
