Dear Sir,
We are looking for companies who can produce steel and iron castings for machine beds for upsetters and forging presses. Size range in low carbon steel from 4.3 tons to 154 tons for upsetters and from 13 tons to 214 tons for presses between 500 tons and 6000 ton capacity.
Alloy steel castings (4140) in sizes from 2 tons to 40 tons for presses. Naturally we will need machining sources who can handle the castings we buy, if the foundries cannot machine their own.
Forgings for crankshafts and eccentric shafts for all press sizes will be needed as forged, heat treated and finish machined. And, finally, companies who can assemble upsetters, presses and hammers.
