Hercampuri or Gentianella Alborosea is a traditional plant that grows in the Peruvian Highlands used since the times of the Incas to relief stomach pain, regenerate hepatic functions, fight fever produced by malaria, and to reduce obesity. Hercampuri also acts as blood depurative and stimulant of billiard function. Gentianella Alborosea is recommended for reducing high cholesterol levels.

Hercampuri belongs to the Gentianaceae family, composed of 75 different genera. 1000 species are distributed worldwide approximately, most of them are found in warm and subtropical regions and in small tropical hills. The Gentianella genus is the most numerous with 400 species. |
