Cut cable and slide S.R. onto cable , trim back cable jacket to expose approximately 1.70 inches (41mm)of shielded contuctor.
Cut off alumium foil and peel with folding back shielding over cable jacket to expose conductors, slip the drain wire or braid shielding onto metal shell untwist individual conductor cut off and reserve around 0.54" (13.80mm) for proper termination.
Push wires under the plug contacts, and push metal shell on fixed position. Then insert assembly into termination hand tool or crimping machine with appropriate die set and terminated.
Cut off residue shielding and slide S.R. over plug and snap into place. |
